Speech Impediments

Stuttering is a type of speech disorder that interrupts the normal flow of speech. This means those with a stutter will know precisely what they want to say but may find it challenging to get the words out. This can cause communication difficulties and may then lead to damaged self-esteem, low self-confidence and anxiety. Hypnotherapy helps you to manage stress and improve your body’s ability to relax.

Many people find their stutter gets worse when they are stressed, so when the worry about speaking is managed, the stammer eases up naturally.
